The annual trip to Disneyland Paris is for different children each year, typically for those who have lost relatives in the previous twelve months. Trips are normally carried out at Easter, but always in school holidays so that children of school age are not taken away from their education. The trips are very informal with no counselling or similar activities - a genuine holiday break with no requirement to stick together as one group. The charity funds return coach travel from hotel near Heathrow to the Airport, return flights from Heathrow to Charles De Gaulle, transfer to Disneyland Paris, two nights in a luxury hotel on site and three day passes to the Park itself. Adequate insurance cover is also provided. Whenever possible, a small amount of additional funding is also provided to ensure each child has a toy or souvenir to bring home as well as assisting with the purchase of meals, although breakfast is included at the hotel.
